A pair of unusual Late Victorian girandole mirrors with three brass candle sconces on each.
They are an exact pair ie: a left and a right, with beautiful etched glass depicting birds and butterflies with decorative foliage around the side.
The wood frames were probably originally covered in a thick fabric, probably velvet as was fashionable at the time but we have left the wood exposed to suit modern houses. The ‘rustic’ look of the backs strongly suggests they were once covered. The glass, and the quality brass candle holders are all in very good condition.
The mirrors are about 48cm in length and approximately33cm at the widest point across the candle holders
