Circa 1910 – a large opaque and clear glass lampshade that would have been used either with a gas lamp or an oil lamp – or possibly a candle lamp.
It is in very good condition except for the small area of damage around the opening – see 2nd Photo.
The lampshade is opaque glass in the body with a band of clear glass towards the top (or bottom depending on how the shade is used).
It measures 14cm in length; the inside of the top is approximately 5cm and the outside is 6.5cm and the diameter of the outside of the shade is approximately 12cm as the shape curves inwards, keeping the reflection of light inside.
