This is a beautifully made pewter chandelier dating from around 1920-1940, has eight arms and it comes with the original ceiling rose (not shown in the photographs).
The arms have a dragon design at the end with the heads holding the pewter candle cups, and the tails joined to the central body of the chandelier.
The chandelier is heavy, and in very good condition, and it has been rewired to UK specifications.
It measures approximately 53cm in height and 60cm across.
The central column has been lightly burnished to bring out a pale blue tinge which was a popular effect at the time. The flash of the camera brings out the blue more strongly than it is. In reality, the central column is a subtle varying shade of pewter, lighter pewter and a hint of blue.
We no longer trade through a retail outlet, but would be happy to arrange a viewing by appointment in Surrey. If the buyer can arrange collection of the chandelier, we will pack it ready for transportation and offer a discount on the price.
Delivery within easy reach of the south side of the M25 may be possible, otherwise we can arrange for quotes to be supplied for courier charges.
