Circa 1940, this ceiling light still has the original brass chains and just needs a brass ceiling hook – we can supply one for £5 if required.

It measures 22.5cm across the rim at the top; 15cm in depth and is approximately 30cm at the widest point. There is no sign of damage or cracks on the light.

The design is a mix of bubbles around the middle and rows of lines or pillars around the top.  We think it is made of glass although there is a slight perspex feel to the item.  It could have been made in one of the trial products of the 1940’s where clever materials were produced that feel and look like something.    We are selling it ‘as is’ and lean towards it being glass.

Postage and packing is included for UK mainland delivery but for remote parts of the UK or abroad, please contact us for a delivery quote.

Sorry, there is no discount on this item because packaging and postage will be about £9-£10 and is included in the price.
